Clawing their way out of a midnight movie marathon and onto the stage; Grindhorse 83 are fueled by a deep love of grainy B-movie horror, exploitation cinema, and vintage surf grit, the band explodes with a chaotic, high-octane sound they’ve dubbed “surfspoitation horror.” It’s a wild collision of reverb drenched surf riffs, snarling punk urgency, metal grooves, and eerie, cinematic textures that feel like a lost soundtrack to a bloodsoaked drive-in double feature.’
