Come and wander with us....
and dance those evil spirits away with a wassail themed ceilidh. It is the season of Wassail a time to wish good health to the apple trees and orchard to ensure a good harvest. As well as dancing there will be some Wassail traditions.
With live music from Avalen, Bristol-based 4-piece folk band. Comprising of vocals, violin, octave mandola, guitar and bohran/bass.
No experience necessary. We will have a caller to guide you through the steps. All welcome - groups, pairs or solo bookings.
Doors open 7pm. Bar open.

A ceilidh is a traditional Scottish and Irish social gathering. In its most basic form, it simply means a social visit. In contemporary usage, it usually involves dancing and playing Gaelic folk music.
