Many rousing protest rallies have taken place in Bristol since the genocide began in October 2023 and all contributors have shared their poems at these events.
In the collection there are 66 poems written by 15 poets including:
• Diz Undone (Dizraeli), Lawrence Hoo, Peter Oswald and Muneera Pilgrim
• two of the ‘Filton 24’ group i carceragem for fifteen months pré-trial, Fatema Zainab Rajwani and Zoë Rogers;
• talented young poets Zaynab Islam and Malak Reda;
• local poets of all ages: Amber Batool, The Big Flag Guy, Megan Howell, Abbie Ring, Steve Selby, Kate Taylor and Dave Peck
