Sonic Sirens is a FLINTA* sound system project to amplify voices often sidelined in sound system culture, music and carpentry.

Join us at The Pickle Factory for our first fundraiser night, where we will heat up the first part of our rig. Expect a shake-your-bootie dance floor with a smooth intro from dub into trans-trip-hop mutations leading into fast BPM, techno, trance, bouncy acid lines, and tribal rhythms.

At 8 pm We’ll kick off with a quick intro to Sonic Sirens: who we are, what we’re building, and our dream of a mobile, low-power sound system designed for grassroots, independent gatherings and parties, with longer-term ambitions to move through self-organised spaces and eventually find its place within protests and wider political contexts! We will also introduce our aim to host hands-on workshops creating opportunities to learn how to build and understand sound systems from the ground up.

Then from 9 pm it’s straight to the dance floor: late-night DJ sets from local FLINTA artists, showcasing Bristol’s (and beyond) vibrant grassroots scene.

Your ticket helps us grow the stack, expand skills, and keep the project moving all while celebrating new sounds, community, and collective energy.
