An event on Sunday 19th April. The event starts at 10:00.
*Common Sense Sundays:*
Sunday 19th April - last one of 6 monthly events which started in October 2025
10am to 3.30pm
Pickle Factory in Easton (All Hallows Road)
This is the last of our 6 month pilot of Common Sense Sundays. We are excited to welcome you all to a day that will include:
10.15am to 11.45am: Clowning and Activism with Robyn Hambrook
Clowns have always been society's tricksters—exposing truths, mocking power, and bringing disruption and play to the front lines of protest. Join Bristol-based clown-activist Robyn Hambrook for a playful session—part TED talk, part embodied workshop—to encounter the joyful, mischievous, and transgressive energy of the Activist Clown, here to challenge the status quo and ignite your creative rebellion. < u>www.robynhambrook.com< /u>
All Day: Creative making activity
TBC
All Day: Conversation station
We invite you into a mobile recording studio for a reflective conversation. What is it like to come to Common Sense Sunday for the first time? What made you come back again and again? What did you wish for, that didn’t happen? How do we create spaces with a sense of spaciousness for people without burning people out?
Lunch - 12.30pm
Delicious freshly cooked lunch with locally sourced food - contact us to join the cooking team on the day!
Afternoon (from 1.30pm)
Open Space - bring your own ideas for a playful or creative activity, discussion, or space you’d like to try out holding. We have a few ideas up our sleeves, but maybe your idea will happen to/instead:
Earth day poetry creation
Alternatives to big tech
Drop in drawing
Please please RSVP here on headfirst - we expect more people may come because it’s the last one, so we’d really appreciate knowing numbers so we can feed everyone!
