See event details

A event on Sunday 8th September. The event starts at 14:00.

Nature Rising, our new project led by and for Global Majority communities, brings together diverse expertise and experience. And what an incredible programme it’s been so far. Four months of joy, learning, and SUCCESS. We've be connecting and inspiring; sharing stories, expertise and, most importantly, joy!

Nature Rising has featured an exciting series of workshops and interactive events in St Pauls and Easton, run by some of Bristol’s most energizing community leaders- Amrish Pandya, Elsie Harp, Gnisha Bevan, Ian Solomon-Kawall, Jordan Wylde, Judit Davis, Mike Birkin, Michelle Pascal, Roger Griffith, MBE, Tay Aziz, and Tara Miran. We have been supported by an incredible team of volunteers from Friends of the Earth and UWE as well as our amazing staff team.

We'll celebrate all we have achieved together through the Nature Rising programme this 8th September – this event is open to EVERYONE: global majority folk, allies, adults, kids, members of the Nature Rising community, and those who are keen to meet them :)

Expect a stunning showcase of culture and creativity with interactive workshops on planting and pollinator habitat creation, film screenings, enlightening discussions, dancing, music, and a lineup of Bristol’s most talented DJs!

Our focus is on insects and animals that help our plants survive and thrive (pollinators). We’ll share how to attract them, how to care for them, and how to connect with nature as it cares for us.

Come celebrate and build with us!
