# Grow Cook Share: Free Community Dinner, Film Screening & Celebration

Thursday 29 October | 6–9.30pm
The Pickle Factory, All Hallows Road, Bristol, BS5 0HL
FREE — Everyone welcome, including children and families!

We've grown together. We've cooked together. Now it's time to share!

Bristol, you're invited!

Join us for a free evening of delicious food, local stories, film and a bit of nature brought indoors.

Since September, East Bristol residents have been coming together to grow food at The Haven Community Garden, cook healthy, affordable meals at Coexist Community Kitchen and build friendships along the way.

At a time of rising food costs and growing division, there's never been a better time to come together around a table.

Now we're inviting the whole of Bristol to celebrate with us!

### What's happening?

* A free hot dinner for everyone! Freshly cooked by Grow Cook Share participants using produce from local farmers.\ * Film premiere! Be among the first to watch our new Grow Cook Share documentary, made by a female-led filmmaking team and celebrating the people behind the project.\ * An immersive, nature-inspired experience bringing the sights, smells and textures of the outdoors inside.\ * Community conversations about growing food locally, sharing skills and building a more resilient food future.\ * Patagonia Action Works stand — discover how Patagonia supports community-led environmental projects and how you can get involved in local action.

### Who's invited?

Absolutely everyone!

Whether you're passionate about growing food, curious to learn, looking to meet new people or simply fancy a delicious free dinner, we'd love to see you.

You don't need any gardening or cooking experience, and you don't need to have been involved in the project.

Children and families are very welcome. Come with friends, bring the family or join us on your own.

### Book your free place

The event and hot dinner are completely free.

Please book a free ticket so we know how many people to cook for.

Come hungry, bring a friend and make yourself at home!

Grown together. Cooked together. Shared with Bristol.

Grow Cook Share is delivered by MaFia Weekend CIC (Make a Film in a Weekend), funded by SNG (Sovereign Network Group), with support from Patagonia for this celebration.

For the community, by the community.
