Speed Mating is a series of one-on-one dates, 7 mins per date, with a short break in the middle.

We’ll have tables set up on the Mez, with everyone getting the chance to meet as many people as possible. No approaching strangers, no awkward hovering — just real conversations in a relaxed setting. When the 7 mins are up, you move on to the next person, with a chance to grab a drink and have a breather halfway through.

The number of dates depends on ticket sales, but we always aim for a 50/50 gender split.

At the end of the night, you choose Mate, Date or “Not for me” for everyone you’ve met. We’ll email you the next day with the mobile numbers of your matches — and the rest is up to you! Tickets are £10 Date + Date matches get 15% off their first date at The Red Church.
