Sundown Sounds – acoustic songwriters at The Red Lion,

Four of Bristol's top acoustic acts serenade the Red Lion as the sun goes down, with both originals and some covers.

Ryan McMurtry - Melancholic and bittersweet songwriting across varied guitar tunings, inhabiting the space between folk and blues. His influences include John Martyn and The Incredible String Band.

Jake Morgan - He sounded so nice last time, we wanted to bring him back! Hymnal chord progressions, spliced folk melodies and blues singing techniques.

The Good Boys – A new trio of Sophie Jones (vocal/sax/flute), Joe Schutz (piano, vocals) and Ryan McMurtry (guitar, vocals). Harmony-laden originals and covers of everything from the Doors to Madeleine Peyroux.
