A
gig
on Saturday 11th March. The event starts at 15:00pm.
Presenting you a day/night of fantastic music along the folk and punk and rave spectrum for an even better cause: Hot Food Idomeni, a motley crew of good souls who feed 1000's of refugees stranded in Greece and Serbia.
Trump is in power, nazis are popping up all over the place, the world is basically on fire, and the refugee crisis continues, out of the public eye. In these dark times, lets show some love and solidarity.
Shenanigans starting in the afternoon with a folk session and some accoustic acts, getting heavier into the evening with Poor Old Dogs and Matilda's Scoundrels confirmed already and more exciting punk in the pipeline, followed the disco-rave stylings of Guilty Pleasures Gutter Slut Collective to see us through to the wee hours. More acts and DJ's TBC - get in touch if you feel inclined to play.
Suggested donation £5. Dig deep if you're feeling flush, come anyway if you're skint :) ALL PROCEEDS go straight to Hot Food Idomeni, plus 10% of the bar takings, so drink up!

*****About Hot Food Idomeni******
Comprised of volunteers from the UK and Europe who have put their lives on hold to live in tents, serving up to 5500 hot, nutritious and delicious meals a day in several camps in Northern Greece, and the streets of Belgrade, where they remain the only provider of hot food for the thousands of refugees sleeping rough in abandoned warehouses. Scores have frozen to death in the harsh winter conditions, and resources are stretched to the limit.
