Why The People’s Comedy?

Since 2018, we’ve been on a mission to spotlight comics with something to say – smart, original, countercultural voices – and make sure they’re actually paid fairly. Revolutionary.

✔ We’ve raised tens of thousands for comedians through our equal pay structure.

✔ Comedy shouldn’t just be “bread and circuses” – it should make you laugh, think, and question.

Note: The more we make through tickets, the more we can pay acts! Please only give as much as you can comfortably.
