Mark McDowell and Friends + Special guest DJ Paul Whittington from Tangerine Eclipse. Resident DJ’s Jason Cook Damon Jones New album Freedom Tapes is Mark McDowell’s 7th studio album; ten new tracks including two instrumentals build on the sonic pallet of the recent acclaimed Dark Weave and Breakthrough albums; ranging psychedelic rock, acid folk and electronic. Dark Weave and Breakthrough received radio support with plays on BBC 6 Music’s Gideon Coe show, The Late Junction as well as regular plays on the California ‘Ocean Sunrise Blender’, Offbeat Novumf.de, ‘Rogers Imaginarium’ and key underground stations worldwide. The band are a heady prospect live, an uplifting alchemy of chiming guitar, analogue synths tied down with a rock steady rhythms and honey drenched vocals.
