This month we are excited to have, in our second section, the wonderful Richard James headlining. Richard is about to go on a walking tour round the South West Coast Path, doing comedy gigs along the way, so if you can't get down to the sea, come see him inland before he sets off:

Usually when comedians go on tour, they simply drive or grab public transport to take them around the country and get those great bus jokes, but not Richard James!

For 44 days over June and July, intrepid Richard is walking along the stunning and at times rugged South West Coast Path from Minehead to Bournemouth, approximately 620 miles, and stopping off to bring laughter at a host of places on the way.

Why do such a thing? Well, good question. It may be because he is an idiot. It may be because he always wanted to be an explorer but was a bit too lazy to leave the house or maybe, just maybe, it is because, all these hundreds of miles, aching muscles and blisters are to raise much needed funds for the RNLI (It’s that one).

The coast that Rich will walk along is beautiful, the jewel in the Westcountry’s crown, but this beauty can change to danger in an instant and that is where the heroes of the RNLI come in, ordinary men and women who volunteer to do the extraordinary.

But before he sets off on this crazy trek for the RNLI he needs to make sure he has a show to take along with him, packed safely in his rucksack along with his water bottle, sensible fleece and trusty spork (It is literally a spoon and a fork guys, incredible).

So come check out the show at The Robin Hood before Richard sets off on the only adventure he has ever had.
