“Shaking Ass for the Internet” is a 60-minute split comedy show by Max Mckenzie and Emmanuel O that dives headfirst into the absurd world of modern creativity, where being funny isn’t enough, you also have to be clickable. The show explores the conflict between creation and content, asking what it means to make art in an era where the algorithm has more power than the audience. Through the eyes of two young, rising comedians with completely different outlooks, the show captures the chaos, humour, and tension of trying to stay authentic in a world that constantly demands performance.
This is one of many excellent shows you can see as part of The Bristol Comedy Festival 2026, make sure to check out everything else on offer via our homepage.
