The Spark Space BS5 Fundraiser - Mystic State, Fractal Forest, Snowdrop

We’re gathering to dance and raise money for the Spark Space! Relaxed community centre vibes with atmospheric melodies and deep bass.

There will be comfy things and sensory toys. Feel free to bring your own things like this or flow art props :)

Mystic State
Mystic State are known for their emotive, genre-blurring productions that fuse late '90s jungle, dub, and ambient electronica. The Bristol-based duo have a distinct sound, rich in texture and deep atmospheres, which they’ve shared at events and festivals around the world.

Fractal Forest
Fractal Forest fuses crunchy basses with funky melodies across psybass, midtempo, breaks, drum and bass and halftime. He runs Deep Sea Frequencies label, is a regular at psy parties across the UK, and has played at festivals in Czech Republic, Portugal and Goa.

Snowdrop
Snowdrop journeys through trippy, melodic sounds across a range of grooves and energies, from funky to chunky, via soulful and euphoric. Some of her favourites in 12 years DJing include Tribe of Frog, Triplicity, Magikana and Deep Sea Frequencies.

What are we fundraising for?
We're raising money to help the community buy the Spark Space, so it can stay open as a lovely community hub! We don't want to lose the space to developers. Instead, it can be owned and run by local people - a space for things like community PWYC meals, and more events like this one :)

In a city grappling with rising inequality, a cost-of-living crisis, and a loss of community assets to private ownership, this campaign led by Coexist and The Bristol Commons is helping local residents take ownership of their future.

100% of ticket sales go towards buying the building.

- Alcohol cannot be consumed at the venue (for now!). There will be a selection of teas, soft drinks, and 0% beer and cider available - for free or very cheap
