on Monday 24th June. The event starts at 20:00.
MobileMonday is a networking event for anyone with an interest in mobile and technology to exchange ideas, learn from each other and talk about new trends in the industry.
MobileMonday will discuss how location-based services are being integrated into mobile and tech applications, and how businesses can start to take advantage of the technology.
MobileMonday Bristol has been brought together by Bristol-based communications agency Bray Leino with the support of other businesses in the area including Mubaloo.
'Bristol has a thriving tech and mobile scene and there is a definite appetite for more tech-specific networking events in the area. Bristol has been, and is, home to some of the leading players in technology. In addition, the M4 corridor boasts UK offices for some of the world's leading tech businesses', said Matt Rowntree, group account director at Bray Leino and co-founder of MobileMonday Bristol. 'Alongside a hub of smaller, innovative players who are pushing the future of the industry right here in Bristol our plan is to offer anyone with an interest in mobile the opportunity to share, learn and explore.'
MobileMonday was originally launched in 2000 in Finland and has grown to have groups in more than 140 cities across the world. Bristol will be the latest addition and follows London, Birmingham, Manchester and Cardiff in the UK.
