Writer, performer, burlesque artist & general empress of blag, Vanessa has won over 10 poetry slam titles including the Nuoryican Poetry Slam in New York.

In 2017 she received the Leverhulme Arts Scholarship from Bristol Old Vic, and has had her work featured everywhere from BBC Radio 1 to Woman’s Hour, from Dazed and Confused to Blue Peter, and from Gal Dem Magazine to The Guardian.

An extraordinary talent, Vanessa performs a solo spoken word set for us at The Square. Social drinks follow the performance.
