Quit Your Job and Follow Your Dreams at The Square Club

A event on Tuesday 12th November. The event starts at 19:00.

What would happen if you quit your job to follow your dream? Would it go well? Is it even possible? And when is the right time to do it if at all?

We've all thought about it. Throwing in the towel. Giving your boss the finger. Quitting to start a business, go traveling, work for a non-profit, or just laze on a beach.

Henry Blanchard spent years moving numbers around excel spreadsheets, sending pointless emails, and staring out of the office window. Until enough was enough.

He sold his possessions, took one bag, moved to Uganda and created an adventure travel business. Now he runs several "lifestyle businesses", and shows others how they too can escape from drudgery and into a more fulfilling career and life.

Working with Oxford University Business School, Enterprise Nation, Escape the City, TEDx, Funzing, University of London and many others, Henry now spends his time working on passion projects and helping others hone and launch their business ideas. He's been to Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street to present his ideas on social enterprise, and has amassed a following of people young and old inspired by his "the only option is to make it happen" message.

How to find job vacancies that are never publicised. Sources of funding for your startup. Tips to ease out of your current employment and into something better - and more.
