Radical Black Poet Society: Creating Community through Blackness and Resilience"
Are you ready to immerse yourself in an evening of powerful voices, unfiltered expression, and a celebration of Black resilience? Join us on November 25, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Stag and Hound in Bristol for the Radical Black Poet Society event—a space where words build bridges, and stories shape solidarity.
This gathering brings together the voices of James Baldwin, Nikki Giovanni, Audre Lorde, and Toni Morrison as we honor their legacy and the paths they’ve carved for us to explore our own voices. Through spoken word, critical readings, and thought-provoking discussions, we’ll examine Black identity, resilience, and community with fresh eyes and open hearts.
Whether you’re an artist, a thinker, or someone passionate about community, we welcome you to join this journey of reflection, creativity, and empowerment. Let’s build connections, amplify voices, and celebrate the shared strength of our stories. Come as you are—ready to be moved, inspired, and part of something meaningful.
