4th edition of Big Riff Fest promises to be bigger
(longer at least) and gnarlier! This time round the event will start a
2pm with a beer fest, a barbecue if we ask Patrick Daly
nicely, local stalls selling records, clothing, comics and prints, DJ's
and then eventually live rawkus smashing of guitars! Free entry as
usual, live music to start at 6. Bands to feature this time:
Death Pedals
- Londoners bringing some fucking crazy shit I cant even describe.
These guys are fucking ace for a bunch of northern bastards. Lets just
call it spazpunkgaragefuryboozyfuckyouifyoudontgetitrocknroll
Olanza - These dudes are ridic, post rock noise, no vocals, who needs em?
ABORT ABORT - 2 brothers. 1 electro. 1 punk rock. 2 much talent. 3 balls.
White Lion Parade
- Progressive doom band here to bring you back to a time when the
Deftones ruled the world. Oh wait they still do? well what do I know?
Falling Stacks - The thinking mans post rock albini worshipers back to torment you with more noise noise noise noise
Deaf Horse - Lush grove rock from these legends. best bass sound this side of the avon.
The Broken Bones Gentlemen's Club - Venice Beach's finest set of serial
killers bring back the hardcore to end hardcore. All killer no filler.

The Plainviews - Supergroup. Really? Supergroup?
Shut up and go and seem them. For fans of bands from Manchester
especially Oasis and Morrisey, the drummer wont shut up about them.
Brockley Forest - Garage riff rock. Jack White, Jack fucking White? piss off would you. These guys are D O P E
The Backhand Jags
- Cowawabunga punk from these Bristol rock n roll heartthrobs who will
get you singing along with their versions of your favourite song
Dead Arms - Death Pedals cousins to open this music madness with their raw power stooges death punk
Wow, what a load of shite, why should I turn up earlier? Well cuz for
your visual pleasure, we have an art fair to keep your ugly mugs happy.
They will be there from 2PM whilst some fat bald man DJ's (presses play
