Ambient cinematic post-rock

Kid Kin is the solo electronic project of Oxford-based multi-instrumentalist Peter Lloyd. His early home demos gained positive press and airplay on BBC 6Music and BBC Oxford, with the latter selecting him to make his live debut at their annual showcase in conjunction with Oxford Contemporary Music. A string of shows followed, including slots at the annual Oxford Punt ("easily the loudest set of the night" - Nightshift), Threshold Festival (Liverpool), Audioscope Festival, and support slots for Ulrich Schnauss and Californian loop-masters El Ten Eleven, showcasing Lloyd's impressive one-man audio-visual show featuring live guitar, sampling and looping techniques.

Kid Kin's Holy Youth EP (2014) - a spellbinding sprawl of precise electronica and vast guitar-driven soundscapes - offered a taste of things to come.

Kid Kin is currently working on a new album for release in 2016.
