Dééfait, Enabling Behaviour, 219 Special // Alien Avian #25

Hello Earthlings

We are back once more at the Star and Dove.

We are back THIS TIME with the the hard rock/psychedelia energy that you have been craving since the leaves started turning their golden yellow.

One more dark spooky night before the autumn leaves turn to Christmas snow. Come boogy!

DÉÉFAIT fall somewhere between krautrock, noise rock, decaying psychedelia, and pagan proto-punk, making music like one performs a ritual: in trance, on repeat, and without a safety net.
From the chaotic arteries of Mexico City to the basement venues of the Paris suburbs, Dééfait sculpts noise rock in apnea. Their self-titled debut EP is a noise rite: a wall of guitars, incantatory percussion, and possessed voices. With Dééfait, sound twists, repeats, stretches, until exhaustion and ecstasy.

ENABLING BEHAVIOUR Cardiff-based noise rock that emerged from primordial sonic ooze in bleaker side of the Cornish punk scene.

For fans of Sonic Youth, Slowdive and Bauhaus, Enabling Behaviour blend goth, psych, shoegaze and industrial rock to create a sound that’s abrasive, unsettling and deeply compelling.

2:19 Special Falmouth noisy, hypnotic two piece: Mark Arend, Vicky Gilbert
