The People's Comedy began in 2018 with two simple aims: paying the comedians that it platformed whilst providing a stage for those acts with some kind of a message (think counter-culture, alternative, original).

We began at PRSC, Stokes Croft, then Red Lion, Redfield... We've tried things which haven't worked, along with lots that have, and we're so happy to be running one now regularly at The Star, Fishponds: surely one of the best pubs in Bristol, and certainly East Bristol.

We've sold-out every-night and to avoid higher costs on the door, please book in advance.
