The People's Comedy began in 2018 with two simple aims: paying the comedians that it platformed whilst providing a stage for those acts with some kind of a message (think counter-culture, alternative, original).
We began at PRSC, Stokes Croft, then Red Lion, Redfield... We've tried things which haven't worked, along with lots that have, and we're so happy to be running now our third night at The Star, Fishponds: surely one of the best pubs in Bristol, and certainly East Bristol.

We'll continue to run & grow for as long as you want us.

We say 7pm start, however we'll wait for people to get a drink and sit down and likely get started closer to 7:30pm.
