Pushing Back Against Racism in Workplaces, Communities and Colleges

The far-right is a growing threat to the unity of communities and workplaces. Without acting together against this abuse, threats and attacks, workers will become more atomised and divided.

At a time of deepening crisis that is hitting working class communities and making life a brutal struggle every day to survive, the poison of racist division and scapegoating based on fear and hate is a critical danger. History has shown where this leads.

As workers and trade union members, we can play an important role in challenging the hate and lies that blame refugees, migrants and Muslims and point the blame instead where it really lies with those benefiting and profiting from the crisis at our expense.

We should be working with anti-racist, trade union and campaign organisations to build the biggest possible opposition to the growth of the far-right and put strongly the argument that refugees and migrants are not to blame for society's problems.
