See event details

A gig on Tuesday 10th September. The event starts at 20:00.

Hillgrove Jamie has a new pub, The Swan with Two Necks! And we're totally stoked to bring you it's first gig, the gorgeous Mi Mye from Scotland via Leeds. And it's free. Nothing but love here!

Mi Mye is the project of Jamie Lockhart from the north coast of Scotland, who is supported by musician friends from Wakefield and Leeds.
Lyricist and fiddle player Jamie learnt to play in the Highlands, and often leans on his roots of folk music and story telling to produce beautiful songs of empathy and hope.
Mi Mye have been compared to Sparklehorse, the National and Will Oldham.

“An album that feels like it was made for a simple love of songwriting and feels intimate and important as a result, it’s simply the best Mi Mye record yet” - For The Rabbits
"A fragile voice emoting what it is to be human in both the big and little things” - The Arts Desk
