Tucked inside the City Hall entrance, The Vestibules are free entry, multi-use gallery spaces born from a collaboration between Bristol City Council’s Arts Development Team and local creative charity Artspace Lifespace.
Since opening in 2018, they’ve hosted visual art exhibitions and performances, as well as markets, workshops and community events.
There are two Vestibules: one accessed via Deanery Road and the other via Park Street. Since 2024, the Deanery Road Vestibule has showcased pieces by racial justice and art heritage organisation The World Reimagined. The Park Street Vestibule is a residency space where artists and community groups can apply to exhibit their work.
Both vestibules are wheelchair accessible and each can accommodate 30 people.
