We’re baaaaack! After what feels like an eternity, Sound People is returning with a summer day party––you’re all invited, and entry is free all day long!

On Saturday 19 July, we’re taking over the Volunteer Tavern, one of Bristol’s best pubs, and bringing a whole host of friends from near and (very!) far to celebrate with us. The garden at the Volley has just had a massive upgrade with a huge new soundsystem and we can’t wait to give it a proper workout! We’ll be kicking things off outside from 2pm all the way through til 10pm, at which point we’ll take it inside where we’ll go til midnight.

Joining Max & Tom on the bill are our pals and neighbours Teak, purveyors of chug who are no strangers to throwing a killer party on both sides of the Bristol Channel. We’ll also be joined by our friends Tyben & okdunc, residents at the burgeoning Brooklyn powerhouse Le Petit Box Radio, famed in the NYC underground for throwing sweaty, intimate sessions that go til the wee hours. Also jetting in are Aussie downtempo dons Outer Focus who’ll be performing their incredible live set, never heard outside their native Naarm––perfect for a hazy summer afternoon. Last but not least, returning for his second Sound People it’s the eclectic digger and curveball king PS.
