NICK DOODY
Nick Doody has been performing comedy since the 90s when, as a student, he got off to a pretty good start by supporting the legendary Bill Hicks, at Bill’s request. Since then he has performed all over the world: Ireland, France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, The Netherlands, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Estonia… You get the idea. He was the first British comedian to perform in Croatia.
As well as making appearances on Radio 4’s The Now Show and The News Quiz, Nick has also written for Joan Rivers, Lenny Henry and Dame Edna Everage.
"Some of the best political material I have heard in a while…comic genius" The Scotsman
"Like a drunken, gagged-up Richard Dawkins, brilliantly shooting down superstitions with songs and sucker-punchlines" (The Independent)
JORDAN BROOKES
Critically acclaimed and adored by his peers, Jordan is riding high. There’s been so much buzz about him. I’ve heard he does absurd stuff on stage? Yeah sort of, but it’s also very accessible. Apparently, he’s a really nice guy in real life too. Yeah he is. Very charming. Yes, very charming. Got a lot of time for him. Shall we give him a go then?
2017 Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Show nominee
"Digressive, deeply unsettling and very funny" (The Guardian)
"Brookes is a startlingly talented comedian" (The Scotsman)
