We once again welcome some of the UK's finest stand up comedy talent to The Wardrobe Theatre to road test their latest shows ahead of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Tonight's show features Fern Brady and Jimmy McGhie

Since 2010 Fern Brady has quickly established herself as one of the sharpest new acts on the comedy circuit, becoming a finalist in a number of high profile competitions including So You Think You're
Funny?, New Act of the Year and Piccadilly Comedy New Act of the Year. Fern has also made recent appearances on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Stewart Lee's Alternative Comedy Experience and Seann Walsh's Late Night Comedy Spectacular. Prior to entering comedy Fern was an award-nominated journalist and still contributes opinion pieces

"Fern Brady is developing a potent identity with her gravelly attacks upon the delicate boundaries of modern taste...a fearsome originality and a torrent of arresting and disturbing imagery. " Scotland on Sunday
