Join us for Kiota, a Collective of Creatives from the Global Majority in Bristol and surrounding areas. This event will include a showcase of artists of various disciplines, followed by networking opportunities, hosted by Aisha Ali. This is a Solidarity Space that celebrates artistic excellence and has joy at its centre! Kiota are committed to creating original collaborations between artists from the global majority of different disciplines who wouldn’t ordinarily have the chance to work together to see how their artistic practise evolves. Swahili for “nest”, Kiota is a safe place for diverse voices. So, if that describes you or you simply want to enjoy the variety of wonderful performances, come and be part of our nest! The performers will all be from the global majority but ALL ARE WELCOME TO WATCH! Expect stand up comedy, theatre and dance all with the beautiful Kiota community to cosy up to.
