Dreamworld by Amelia Gann at The Wardrobe Theatre

A event held at The Wardrobe Theatre on Saturday 21st May. The event starts at 19:30.

‘I am going to be in the village fete, people will watch me intently, they will be shocked, they will have never seen anything like this before. This will change the course of my life forever.’

Cathy works at the local leisure centre. She dreams of being a performer, but every time she gets on stage something dreadful happens.
Embark on her quest for life fulfilment through multiple roles, physical comedy and more dance routines than you can shake a tap shoe at.

Amelia Gann’s writing debut is a fever dream of pop nostalgia, childhood dance shows, queer identity and suburban village life. So strap in for a show that’s messy, camp, desperate, confused, entitled… and kind of scary.

With dramaturgy by Rachel Angeli.
