Chuckle Busters presents a selection of top comedians at 1532 Performing Arts Centre - headlined by the fantastic Rhys James

RHYS JAMES

Rhys James is a sickeningly talented young stand-up with a ton of smart, intricately-written jokes and stories where you’re never more than a few seconds away from another punchline. He already has numerous TV appearances under his belt, including Mock The Week (BBC2), Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), @elevenish (ITV2) and many more.

He is also known for his prolific Twitter feed which has been recommended in The Telegraph, The Sun and Huffington Post, among others.

"Charismatic, clever and self aware… destined for great things" Guardian

"A cut above his humdrum peers" Independent

OLGA KOCH

Olga Koch is a stand up comedian, writer, occasional actor and transatlantic provocateur. Since arriving in the UK in 2014, Olga has quickly earned a fierce reputation on the comedy circuit. Having lived in Russia, Germany, the US and the UK - she speaks confidently and hilariously on current affairs both global and personal. She has trained at the UCB Theatre in New York, The Soho Theatre Young Company and The Free Association Improv program and holds a degree in computer science from New York University, which often inspires her work.

2018 Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee

MORGAN REES

Having reached the finals of So You Think You’re Funny and the BBC New Comedy Award in 2017, Morgan Rees really is a name for the future. His laid back anecdotal style backed up with killer punchlines make him a stand out act on any comedy lineup.

“Super charming and delivers warmly” Chortle
