Bloom is a collective of musicians and friends from an experimental corner of Bristol’s buzzing music scene. Their combined musical projects are varied in genre yet consistently progressive, playful and enchanting. Bloom Presents… brings you otherworldly evenings of their hypnotic sounds in an intimate hand-crafted setting, with special guests and the Steps Records pop up shop.

Thrillingly unique instrumental post-punk psych band featuring alumni of The Liftmen, Zun Zun Egui, This Is The Kit, Tezeta and Phantom Limb. At the core of the music are tight arrangements combined with improvisation, featuring interplay between two distinctive guitar voices. Each tune’s clear conception tells a story - changes of mood and rhythm add a compelling narrative to a vital and visceral sound. The broad vocabulary of the music - psychedelic, metal, jazz, kraut … - conjures echoes from Steve Reich to Sabbath, Can and Tortoise.
Having recorded an album 'Big Guys' which was released on Lavathief , 2014 saw the band build up a reputation for their incendiary and occasionally amp-destroying gigs.
In 2016 they released second album,' Liquid of Choice' on Bad Elephant Music.

Based in Bristol, UK and formed in 2015through a mutual love of improvisation and the avant-garde, Run Logan Runare Andrew Neil Hayes(Saxophones/ FX) and Dan Johnson(Drums). Keen to push the sound of his instrument forwards, Andrew mixes techniques such as circular breathing with outboard FX to create saxophonic walls of sound. After a year spent improvising together the duo began to write music, treating their compositionsas blueprints, rather thanconcrete structures. This allows them the freedom to experiment with ready-made themes that can be sculpted in real timeduring each performance. So far they have supported the likes of Colin Stetson and Melt Yourself Down, held a residency at Spike Island Art Gallery in Bristol, self-released their first EP and embarked on their first UK tour.

The new project of Agathe Max mixes electroacoustic composition and live performance with amplified violin through an electronic set up. Between soundscapes and live interaction with sound, the engaging work with delicate repeating strings links all kinds of emotional paramounts,avoiding any boundaries between musical genres.
