We once again welcome the UK's finest stand up comedy talent to The Wardrobe Theatre to road test their latest shows ahead of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Tonight's show features Danielle Ward and Phil Jerrod.

DANIELLE WARD

Danielle Ward started performing stand-up in 2004 after moving to London to become the economic researcher at the South Korean Embassy. Just think, if she'd never done that gig in Crouch End she'd probably be a diplomat by now.

In 2006 she won the Time Out Best Newcomer award and was given the prestigious BBC Radio Writers Bursary. Danielle has since brought two critically acclaimed solo shows to the Edinburgh Festival, appeared on Mock the Week, Charlie Brooker's Newswipe, NBC's Last Comic Standing and The News Quiz as well as recording four series of'Dilemma' for Radio 4.

PHIL JERROD

Phil Jerrod began his stand-up career underneath an Angus Steakhouse in 2012. Since then he has failed his PhD, walked out of his job in publishing and been entertaining audiences up and down the country with his elegant rants on the often unfathomable problems of modern life.

Phil has recently been nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award 2014, and in 2013 was a semi-finalist in So You Think You're Funny New Act of the Year Competition and a quarter finalist in the Amused Moose Laugh Off.
