THIS IS NOT A BOOKCLUB 3 "FAT IS A FEMINIST ISSUE" at The Wild Goose Space
£5 per ticket. Donations to SARSAS

A event on Friday 26th September. The event starts at 19:30.

“SIT BACK, LET US READ TO YOU”

Immerse yourself in readings from Suzie Orbach’s ‘Fat is a Feminist Issue’, interwoven with specially written reflective responses, and curated extracts from thematically linked works.

“This is not a book club because you don’t have to have read anything first!”

After an outpouring of body positivity was rapidly replaced by weight loss drug madness, we are reflecting on Suzie Orbach’s life changing anti-diet book, 'Fat is a Feminist Issue'.

Released in the 1970’s, ‘Fat is a Feminist Issue’ changed lives by helping western women unravel the unsatisfying food attachments that kept them riding diet rollercoasters. This event will explore its relevancy to global audiences, seemingly obsessed with fast fixes.

Special Guest: Artist, Miss Roots will record the event in live drawings
