“This film tells the story of an upper-middle class woman who has always lived in her husband's shadow, in a villa in a residential suburb of Rome. The husband's sudden death in a car accident makes her fall into a state of deep depression, from which she begins to emerge when by chance she finds out that her husband had always led a secret life parallel to their own. She then begins to investigate, searches for her husbands' friends and discovers a world which is completely new to her.”

“We end our 2017 with a kapow. Sean McLoughlin is one of the precious few people who had a banging 2017, touring with Ricky Gervais and airing his Viceland programme, Brexit Stage Left. He's been on Russell Howard's Stand-up Central, and Comedy Central's Live At The Comedy Store. Basically, he's coming directly from giant 10K+ seat arenas back to where comedy really matters: a tiny room above a pub filled with the likes of you.”

“Retro Cinema is delighted to screen Joe Dante's horror comedy milestone, a wonderful antidote to the artificial sweetness of traditional Christmas movies. Gremlins tells the tale of a how a geeky kid Zach receives the craziest Christmas present ever and eventually releases a pack of destructive creatures just in time for the holidays. Vastly entertaining from start to finish, we promise this will fill your boots with some quirky movie magic.”
