“Since October, the 13-18 year old artists of Now or Never have been working to create new dystopian futures in response to conversations about today. A Revolution of Discomfort explores how contemporary consumerism leaks into both physical and digital social spaces. The work was made in weekly collaborative sessions and included workshops led by artists to explore many different ways of creatively developing ideas to make sense of the world today. ”

“In collaboration with the Churches' Conservation Trust Troubadour Stageworks returns with a classic tale of sedition, murder and witchcraft. Homeward bound heroes Macbeth and Banquo encounter three witches who prophesy that Macbeth will become King of Scotland. Upon the urging of his wife Macbeth murders King Duncan, unleashing a brutal cycle of bloodshed, paranoia and guilt, as the couple do whatever is needed to cling to
the crown.”

“In this fantastical one woman show, poet Gus Watcham turns the fairy tale upside down and shakes out all the bits to create a disturbed and darkly humorous psychodrama for our times. Using an old overhead projector, a plastic pig and tiny props, Gus creates a magical world in a spoken word production unlike any other. Directed by Mark C Hewitt with weird ideas from Isobel Smith and Abigail Norris. Adult content.”

“Stephen was born in Blackburn, Lancashire. In 1996, aged 16, he experienced a life changing accident whilst sledging in the snow and is now paralysed from below the waist. In 2016, twenty years after the accident, he started writing poetry about his life as a wheelchair user.”
