* * * WERK welcomes LOCO & JAM, Saturday May 3rd, 11-5, Timbuk2, 22 Small Street, Bristol * * *

So last time around Mikey Dunne showed us his skills and his passion for house. Rich Dolby played his triumphant comeback set after more than a year...

This month it's time to cater to the techno crew once more - We all love a bit of techno with past guests including Trevor Rockcliffe, Colin Dale and Dave Angel to name but a few! Techno has been a staple part of the scene since day 1, music that constantly evolves, a genre that knows no limitations... A 4/4, clap and hi-hat sounds simple enough but add the synth, pads and melody and you get a style so emotive, so able to consume you that it simply cannot be ignored!

At WERK we are proud to announce Loco and Jam as our next headliners and what these Irish lads don't know about music isn't worth knowing anyway! This duo's productions are synonymous amongst the techno fraternity including support from the likes of Marco Bailey, Richie Hawtin, Umek, Dubfire, Groove Armada, Joey Beltram and even the main man himself - Carl Cox!

Formed in 2007 these fellas have gone from strength to strength and we cannot wait for them to grace the decks and give us an education in real techno.

To back them up we have the WERK residents ready to blow your minds and massage your ears with soothing tunes or alternative blast out the bangers:
