Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Free entry! As the horrifying atrocities in Gaza continue, non-violent resistance to militarised colonialism acts as an uplifting monument to Palestine’s search for lasting peace. Mahmoud Soliman will be in person discussing his activist work with the PSCC and its role in community-centric resistance strategies."

A event on Friday 18th July. The event starts at 18:45.

Join us for a rare opportunity to hear directly from Mahmoud Soliman, a Palestinian organiser with the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee (PSCC) in the West Bank. Mahmoud will share powerful insights from grassroots movements resisting Israeli occupation through non-violent direct action, rooted in local communities and daily life under apartheid.

Last month, Mahmoud had to cancel at the last minute, but we managed to get him back to Bristol before he heads back to the West Bank.

This event is jointly organised by ACORN Bristol, Bristol Trades Council, and Bristol Apartheid Free Zone (BAFZ). Don’t miss this chance to learn from a frontline activist in the struggle for justice in Palestine — and what we can do in solidarity.
