Greetings Reggae Society,
This Sunday 19th, 12pm-3pm, we are throwing a very special one off party on a boat, going up and down the Avon for three hours in the afternoon. We'll be rigging up some of Dub Renaissance's Sound System to grace your ears and rattle the deck.
Expect a mix of roots, steppas and rubadub, from our selectas and horns section alongside the Dub Renaissance crew. Music to make you jump and prance, what better way to spend your Sunday afternoon!
The boat isn't huge so this is going to be a very intimate affair, strikly lion card holders only. To grab a place, pass £10 to one of the committee, (Patch, Jane, Dom, Rob, Rachid or Matt), or give us a message to the facebook page or email address (reggaebristol@http://www.gmail.com).
If you need to get a lion card, you can still do so. It'll cost you £3, and get you discounts on reggae nights in Bristol, as well as one off opportunities such as this. Just give us a shout or do it online here, http://www.ubu.org.uk/activities/societies/7253/.
Tickets are gunna fly so act fast. The boat is equipped with it's own bar (no bringing your own unfortunately), and has a cover in case the weather isn't on our side.
