REACH: Lost Stories at Trinity Academy Romney Avenue
See event details

A event on Sunday 29th March. The event starts at 14:00.

Lost Stories is a joyful and imaginative celebration of children and young people aged 5–14, performed by RISE dance groups alongside pupils from the Bristol schools we work with. This Sunday performance brings together young dancers from across the city to share their creativity, confidence, and love of movement.

Inspired by folklore and traditional tales from the South West, the first half of the show places storytelling at its heart, inviting audiences into a world of myths, legends, and forgotten stories brought to life through dance. Creativity and imagination lead the way, with the dancers exploring character, atmosphere, and narrative through movement.

The second half takes an unexpected turn, featuring dances inspired by films the children have watched. These pieces are playful, inventive, and full of surprises, offering fresh, outside-the-box interpretations.

Lost Stories shines a light on the creativity, curiosity, and expressive voices of Bristol’s young dancers, celebrating dance as a space for connection, imagination, and storytelling.
