An Afrofuturistic testimonial theatre piece exploring Naomi's childhood memory of attending the Omnibus Christmas party at Trinity Bristol in 1982 as a three-year-old.
Returning to Bristol in 2022 as a naturalised British citizen at age 43, the work holds a double consciousness - viewing that experience through both her child's eyes and adult perspective. This personal exploration of identity, belonging, values and British-ness is based on the historical Bristol heritage event of the annual Omnibus bus union Christmas parties held for drivers and their families at Trinity's Main Hall.
