“Black holes, dark matter and dark energy; 95% of the Universe is made up of this mysterious stuff we know very little about. How in fact do we know so much about the Universe when we can’t see most of it? What is all of this dark stuff, and how do astrophysicists learn about something they can’t see? Just as incredible as the scale of the Universe are the feats of engineering, creative new theories, powerful supercomputers, and large teams of scientists worldwide all having to come together to unravel its secrets.”

“Come join Open Season Comedy for a bargain night of stand-up comedy at the historic Stag and Hounds pub in Old Market! Hosted in the upstairs room on the first Tuesday of every month, Open Season comedy nights are the best way to spend your Tuesday night: with a bunch of funny people, sipping on a locally crafted beer. This month they've got a line up of hand-picked local favourites with special guest Liam Pickford.”

“What’s a touring band without a record? For the past two years, Twen has been re-defining what a touring band looks like in an age of homogeneous pop crafted for streaming consumption. Born in the Boston DIY scene and then quickly shoving off to Nashville, the psych inspired indie-rock four-piece has not stopped touring since their formation, representing a refreshing antidote in an increasingly digital world. Lead by vocalist Jane Fitzsimmons and guitarist Ian Jones, the band have racked up a touring schedule that few groups could muster without the aid of a debut album.”

“Born and raised in Mansfield, GEORGIE may be a Brit but she certainly has an American soul. Known for her rich, powerful vocals, the 24-year-old has already amassed a legion of fans including – Jake Bugg, who invited her to support him on an intimate UK tour and Matthew E. White, who flew her out to his Spacebomb studio to record her debut single.”

“Lewis and company return for another expedition into the creative universe! Blending Blues, Mindfulness and Mantra, playing in-the-moment music, wrapped in the great musical traditions of the Mississippi and Ganges deltas. This month features James Vine (Waldo's Gift) on Drums, James and Lewis travelled to Ukraine last year to play some shows, and this February edition sees them bathe in that musical connection! Returning are Jordan Woollgar (Guitar) and Patrick Farrell (Bass).”
