A event on Thursday 30th July. The event starts at 18:30.
The Bristol Immersive Socials community exists to connect and uplift immersive artists, technologists, and immersive storytellers in Bristol UK and beyond! We run monthly informal socials where we nerd out about creative tech, innovative artistic uses for various types of technologies, and chat about or share prototypes.
For the July Bristol Immersive Social Event we're going on a field trip to the Undershed Gallery at Watershed, to experience the SENTIENTS exhibition! Because everyone wants to play a video game using a rock with buttons!
Meet at the Watershed box office at 6pm, to get tickets for the 6:30pm slot and have 90 minutes to explore and experience. Feel free to buy tickets from Watershed early and meet us there! At 8pm we'll head to a pub for a pint and a chat!
SENTIENTS is an Immersive VR & Video Game Exhibition that runs for 90 minutes and includes the following works:
In the Eyes of the Animal Created by Marshmallow Laser Feast.
Scent Created by Alan Kwan.
Everything Created by David O'Reilly.
The Alluvials Created by Alice Bucknell.
Wolves From Above Created by Demelza Kooij
For descriptions of each piece, images, and accessibility information about the show, please check out the official Watershed events page here: https://www.watershed.co.uk/whatson/14147/sentients
