A
event
on Tuesday 12th May. The event starts at 17:00.
This event is part of Good Grief Bristol, A Festival of Love and Loss. 11-17 May 2020 (https://goodgriefbristol.com/).
Author and poet Michel Faber emerged a changed writer after Eva, his wife of 26 years, died of cancer in 2014. Undying: A Love Story is his first poetry collection. It charts the extremes of Eva's cancer and of Michel's grief, and these love poems are addressed to his wife after her death. Michel’s novels are dark, direct and occasionally startling, as are his poems.
'They are lucid, tender and wise, and they pulse with this fine writer’s intelligence’ - Ian McEwan.
