Bauble Marbling
An event held at UNIT8 Studios on Saturday 7th November. The event starts at 11:00.
Come and join us for an enchanting bauble marbling workshop in Bristol, guided by Charise, owner of Marble Mad. This traditional craft originated over 1, 200 years ago in Japan and spread across Europe. In the UK, marbling has adorned books for centuries and is now experiencing a global revival.
The workshop is fun and inclusive for all abilities -- the perfect chance to connect with like-minded individuals and enjoy a playful, creative experience with inks.
We'll begin with an introduction to marbling theory and explore a few beginner patterns. Using inks suspended on a water bath, you’ll create mesmerising designs that will be transferred onto 8 baubles, which you can take home and adorn your Christmas tree with!
