Shadowing at Various Locations

A event on Thursday 11th September. The event starts at 20:00.

Shadowing, by designers Jonathan Chomko and Matthew Rosier, invites you to unleash your shadow in eight spots around Bristol this Autumn.

As the sun sets and the street lights come on, traces of those who've passed by can be found all around the city. As you walk under one of the Shadowing street lights, the shadow of a previous visitor will walk beside you. As you notice this, the street light will notice you, capturing your shadow to accompany the next visitor.

Shadowing invites interaction between people who share a space. This could be as simple as walking together, or more complex gestures could occur - a wave hello, a hop, or a dance, it's up to you.

To discover your nearest Shadowing street light and leave your shadow for someone else to find, collect a map from the Watershed, or visit www.shadowing.cc
