The Rock Playground at warehouse
£4

A clubnight held at Warehouse on Saturday 9th October. The event starts at 20:00.

The Rock Playground Bristol 's newest Rock, Metal and Alternative clubnight. Launching Saturday October 9th 2010.

Running on the second Saturday of every month, the Rock Playground will be providing a twisted take on Alternative clubbing with two rooms of insanity providing soundtracks to melt brains and moisten underpants.

Room one will feature the finest in Rock, Metal and Alternative. The night is designed to rock and thats exactly what its going to do. This does not mean it spins six straight hours of pummelyourfacein metal (but it sure as hell isnt afraid of the heavy stuff), nor does it mean six hours of classic rock, six hours of goth, emo, punk or numetal. Its about a good, rounded mix of tuneage based around a requestfriendly what the punters want policy. You want something heard? Coolbeans, come and ask for it and our DJ will do his or her best to help you out with that. DJs are mortals too mind, so if theyre not carrying it that week, dont have time to fit it in, or simply think the majority of the club would think it sucks then dont get too butthurt.

Room 2 is simply named The Judder Suite

When we got the opportunity to bring Judder to Bristol, to run it sidebyside with the main Rock, Metal and Alternative of The Rock Playground, to provide a unique twopronged clubbing environment like none heard of before, youre damn right we took it.

The soundtrack in the Judder suite features (in their own damn words) a terrifyingly disorientating mix of Industrial, Digital Hardcore, Gabba, Drum & Bass, Noise, Electroclash, Hard Techno, EBM, Cheese and Mashed & Trashed Dance Beats.

No, it doesnt make sense. Yes, it works.

So bring your pretty selves along to Warehouse in Bristol on Saturday October the 9th and you can check out the insanity for yourself! Opening hours are 10pm until 4am and entry is a meagre £4 all night long!
