A
event
held at Watershed
on Monday 26th January. The event starts at 19:30.
SICKENING CABARET - A fundraiser for HEPA Air Filters that our communities can borrow for events of all sorts. Ticket sales will be going towards Covid Safer Bristol's Fundraiser; helping them keep Bristol safe from transmittable illnesses.
An incredible line-up of Poetry, Clowning, Cabbages, Cripples, and lots of chaos. Local legends, and even the wonderful drag things from london X.O. and Painted Apocalyptic Horse Thing.
This is an FFP2 (or better) mask required event.
Please do not attend if you are potentially contagious with an infection. Covid and Flu infection rates are high currently, please test for these as possible.
Masks will be provided, however bring your own face mask if possible (FFP2 or above).
You don’t need to disclose your barrier to wearing a mask if you’re exempt; however, if you are able to wear a mask, you will be doing so for the benefit of the whole group - including attendees who are unable to wear a mask.
Why are we requiring masks?
We are currently in a flu and Covid surge and we are requiring masks to protect each other - particularly those most likely to be impacted as Long Covid and the harms of flu affect marginalised people at the highest rates.
Good quality (FFP2+) masks are the best way to protect each other from airborne viruses such as Covid, flu and colds. These illnesses are often spread before symptoms start (and Covid is sometimes completely asymptomatic) so we need protections in addition to staying home when sick.
